Starboard side looking aft, with just the topside plates to go. Note that the radius section looks much better now. Hanging plates and tacking them in was much like smoothing a table cloth... you start in one corner and push the ripples out ahead of yourself, to the opposite corner, tacking as you go. The last thing you want to do is tack one corner, then another and another, because then you just lock the wrinkles in, since the plate can't move. You have to coax it to slide and move where it needs to against the framing. Suprerior force, delicately applied, is the ticket, even though delicate might mean a 5 lbs sledge. Next
